Gameloft's Mobile Game Spider-Man Unlimited Will Shut Down Next March

Spider-Man Unlimited, an endless runner mobile game allowing you to swing and jump across Manhattan will come to an end next year after Gameloft made the announcement on Facebook.

The web-swinging mobile game launched a comic-con trailer back in 2014 and it later launched for free for iOS and Android devices. It has players completing various missions in Spider-Man Unlimited and allows them to choose from a large number of suits from the comic books. The Amazing Spider-Man suit and the Sam Raimi suit does not appear in the game. Although there is the Spider-Man Symbiote suit, so there's that. Here, have a look at the list of suits available here.

The statement from Gameloft that was posted to the official Spider-Man Unlimited page announces that the title will be shutting down on March 31, 2019. You'll still be able to play it until that date, but don't expect to see any new content being added to the title. You'll find the statement embedded below.

Those who want to grab it while it's still available will find themselves taking part in a story that has the Gold Goblin recruiting Spider-Man to defeat the Sinister Six who are invading New York by using a portal. Later S.H.I.E.L.D manages to use the portal to bring alternative Spider-Men and Spider-Women from other dimensions to help battle the Sinister Six.

Spider-Man Unlimited is available for iOS and Android but will shut down on March 31, 2019.
