While Xbox's E3 2019 briefing has been marked by major titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and more, Microsoft has shown its willingness to also shine a light on indie titles coming to its systems, with a new trailer highlighting a promising new title from Thunder Lotus Games, called Spiritfarer.

During Microsoft's E3 2019 press conference, a new title was revealed in the midst of the briefing titled Spiritfarer, which appears to be a platformer that is defined by a stunning art style, coming from the creators of Jotun and Sundered.

The title also appeared to feature a number of unique elements to make it beyond just a platformer, including building mechanics and much more. But the biggest takeaway is that Spiritfarer looks and sounds stunning, and given the pedigree of Thunder Lotus' past games like Sundered and Jotun, it seems to be another genre-defying experience worth looking forward to.

Spiritfarer will release for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux in 2020. For a closer look, you can check out the reveal trailer from E3 2019 below:
