Today, the Japanese Twitter account for Splatoon posted three new screenshots of Splatoon 2, showing off a brand new stage: Diadema Amphitheater.

The Diadema Amphitheater is said to be a facility used for things like concerts, including concerts from the legendary Squid Squad band. Considered a holy place for rock music, there was worry the venue, including some of its machinery, would be damaged by the ink, but proper countermeasures are being implemented in order to prevent such an issue.

Splatoon 2 is set to release sometime this summer for the Nintendo Switch. A demo for the game is planned for the end of March: you can read more about it here.
