For those who have yet to try out this new category of weapons, they come packed with an insane fire-rate, as well as the option to perform dodge rolls that momentarily increase your damage output. These rolls allow a player to move out of the way of oncoming attacks and answer back in kind.

What the Dualie version of the Squelcher achieves, however, is taking the typically close range weapons and making them long range. Combined with the Point Sensor sub-weapon to locate your enemies positions, as well as the Tenta Missles special, this weapon is a long-range menace that is excellent at evading oncoming attackers, and keeping them at a healthy distance.

One of the most amazing features of this weapon, at least to me, is that after performing a dodge, the weapons combine into one large blaster in a very anime-esque fashion.

Splatoon 2 is available now for the Nintendo Switch for $59.99. You can check out our review of the game here, as well as Splatoon 2's popularity in Japan and how it has impacted the new console's sales.
