It seems April 12 is the day that every major online multiplayer title updates their content. To follow suit (and as mentioned previously), Splatoon will be getting an update around 9 PM tonight. Along with minor tweaks and fixes, Nintendo is adding eight new weapons, four of them discussed in the prior article. However, to celebrate the official update, Splatoon's official Tumblr blog has released pictures and info on the remaining four weapons.

Nightly players should be aware that like all Splatoon updates, there will be a short server maintenance from 7:50 – 9:00 PM Eastern. Splatoon is exclusively available on Wii U — check out the new weapon photos below.

Soda Slosher:

The Soda version of the Slosher will feature Splat Bombs and Inkzooka.

Bamboozler 14 MK III:

The Bamboozler 14 MK III switches things up by swapping up Burst Bombs and Inkstrike.

Refurbished Mini Splatling

Next on the roster is the Refurbished Mini Splatling, a variation of the Mini Splatling, retooled to allow Burst Bombs and Bomb Rush.

Tempered Dynamo Roller

Last on the list is the Tempered Dynamo Roller which features Killer Wail and.Seeker.
