After a series of rumors, the Spx x Family anime adaptation is finally official, and here's everything you need to know about it.

Written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo, Spy x Family is a popular Japanese manga series. The series follows the journey of a spy getting into a fake marriage and adopting a daughter to execute a mission. However, things turn uglier for Loid Forger when he discovers that his phony family is more dangerous than the people he's spying on.

Following the success of the Japanese manga since its initial launch in 2019, several reports suggested that two of the most famous Japanese animation studios are working on its anime adaptation. Well, we finally know that all the rumors were indeed true.

Spy x Family Anime Officially Confirmed

Recently, the official

" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Twitter account of Spy x Family announced that the anime adaptation is in production.

Wit Studio, known for working on anime like Vinland Saga and Attack on Titan (3 seasons), is collaborating with Colver Works studio for Spy x Family. Interestingly, Clover Works is also known for producing several popular anime projects, including the first two seasons of The Promised Neverland. So, you could see why the entire anime community is excited after the official announcement.

Surprisingly, to announce the upcoming anime, the creators also released its first trailer; here you go; take a good look at it:

As stated in the official announcement, Kazuhiro is directing the anime adaptation. Also, Takuya Eguchi is giving voice to Loid Forger, codenamed "Twilight."

The anime is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2022. That being said, the studio still has to reveal an exact release date for the Spy x Family anime.
