Activision showcased some new gameplay of Spyro Reignited Trilogy showing the Hurricos level from Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! running on PS4.

Today Activision released a brand new gameplay video of the upcoming Spyro remake Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

The video showcases Hurricos, one of the realms included in the old and glorious Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! from 1999.

We get to see plenty of new gameplay showcasing the renewed graphics, that look really good.

Thanks to the power of current-gen consoles the developers were able to include brand new lighting and visual effects. The diodes and force fields that characterize this level are enriched by dynamic light

While the characters in this level including the gear grinders, the robots, and the electrolls have remained faithful to the original design, but some details have been added here and there.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy will release for PS4 and Xbox One on September 21st, 2018. If you want to see more, you can check out some really spiffy gameplay showcased a while ago, and the footage from San Diego Comic-Con.

If you’re interested in reserving a copy before the trilogy launches, you can already do so on Amazon.
