Spyro the Dragon Has Been Announced for Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled
Having been out since June, Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is about to add Spyro the Dragon to its roster.
In a new post on the PlayStation Blog, it’s been announced that Spyro the Dragon will be added to Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled just in time for their new Grand Prix.
The latest Grand Prix starts on August 30 which includes a new track, characters, karts, and new items. Spyro, Hunter, and Gnasty Gnorc will be added as playable racers and players will get to use the Spyromobile and Gnasty Ride karts. Additionally, players will get to race on Spyro Circuit, the latest stage that’s being added to the game. The Grand Prix also includes new stickers, decals, and paint jobs so players can customize their carts even more.
Throughout the Spyro Circuit track, players will get to go through a wide variety of areas inspired by the Spyro games. The stage is broken up into three portals which range from an icy castle to avoiding magic vortexes and having to survive a big loop and jump. From the sounds of it, this new stage will put player’s skills to the test and be a ton of fun at the same time.
Having been out since June, the game has gone onto recieve positve reviews and strong sales numbers, especially in the UK. As someone who’s yet to play Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled, this new update is making me want to pick it up right away.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. If you’re looking for more Spyro, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
