Spyro Celebrates His Twentieth Anniversary Today
Everyone's favorite purple dinosaur turns twenty today, and fans were encouraged to share art and memories of Spyro on Twitter.
Spyro turns twenty today, and boy do I feel old. I remember way back when I used to help save all the dragonflies scattered all across the Dragon Realm in Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly on our purple Gamecube. Good times.
On Twitter, a brief video was posted to celebrate the anniversary of everyone’s favorite purple dragon.

Spyro Year of the Dragon was my first game I played on my brand new PlayStation. I still remember coming home after school and would immediately jump on to find more eggs in new worlds. I can’t wait to explore the forgotten worlds once again 💜 #Spyro20th pic.twitter.com/ptvQ88segn

I’ve been playing Spyro since I was a child.
Almost everything I’ve drawn when I was a child was Spyro related, with all these fancharacters I made at the time…
Well, Naturally I’ve grown up, my art now is much better and gess what? SPYRO IS NOW MUCH BETTER TOO!#Spyro20th pic.twitter.com/NU7KpwHVn1
