Today Cloud Imperium Games released a brand new video focusing on Star Citizen's single-player campaign Squadron 42.

The video is relatively brief, but showcases what the teams behind the game are doing to improve the technology being quite a few aspects of the game, including animations, destruction, some really spectacular junk clutter (yes, I know, it's hard to imagine junk to be spectacular, but this one looks really, really good) and more.

We also get to take a further look at the game's main alien threat, the Vanduul, which are getting their own armor and weapons, and at the work done on weapons.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can check out the previous update on Squadron 42 and another on Star Citizen's persistent universe. You can also read our recent interview with Global Head of Development and Foundry 42 Studio Director Erin Roberts.

For the sake of full disclosure, keep in mind that the author of this article is one of the backers of the game since the times of the original Kickstarter campaign.
