Last week, Square Enix made an announcement that many have been anticipating for years, with the reveal that JRPG classic Final Fantasy VII would be coming to PS4 - albeit, as a port of the PC version, rather than the highly-anticipated (and rumored) full HD remake many have been clamoring for.

In a press release sent by Square Enix, the company confirmed new details for two of its upcoming HD remakes, with the first being its official confirmation of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster coming to PS4. Following rumors earlier this week of the PS4 release after being spotted on Square Enix's French store page, Square Enix officially confirmed the PS4 release of the HD remakes, originally released on PS3 and PS Vita, and that the game will be available both digitally and physically in Spring 2015.

Following the confirmation of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster coming to PS4 next year, Square Enix also confirmed pricing details for both FFX/X-2 HD Remaster and the upcoming Final Fantasy VII port for PS4. In its press release, Square Enix confirmed that PS4 release of FFX/X-2 HD Remaster will be priced at $49.99, while Final Fantasy VII will be priced at $15.99.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy VII will both be releasing on PS4 in Spring 2015.
