If you've ever dreamed of cuddling up with the iconic Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII, you might finally get your chance — so long as you live in Japan and have the luck to win a giveaway.

Square-Enix has unveiled a campaign page for a contest they are running in conjunction with the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. By following the official @FFVIIR_CLOUD account and pressing a button to tweet with the hashtag #リミット技を発動 (#Activate Limit Technique), readers will be entered into a contest, with a drawing held after the end of the campaign on December 20.

A one-of-a-kind life-sized plush body pillow of the Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII. It's a fully-detailed piece of work as well, and while it might not make the most directly-accurate accessory for your cosplay of Zack or Cloud, it would still probably be extremely convenient to have on you if you suddenly needed to settle down for a power nap while on the convention floor. Twenty other runners-up in the contest will receive 5,000-Yen Amazon gift cards, which isn't nearly as cool, admittedly, but could at least be put towards any of the various Buster Sword replica pendants or letter openers available on the site.

Eligibility for these prizes, as well, is only open to those living in Japan, meaning your odds of obtaining this premium pillow are even more limited. Players worldwide may still participate in the campaign, and Square-Enix has structured some entertaining virtual consolation prizes within the setup. Tweeting with the hashtag prompts a reply from the @FFVIIR_CLOUD account, depicting the player's result on Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion's Digital Mind Wave, playing a video of Limit Break attacks, Summon spells, and something cool and/or amusing happening to Zack as a result.

It might all seem an unfairly limited way to produce and release such a desirable item for FF7 fans, but perhaps it's appropriate. There can only be one Buster Sword, with its passing between various characters itself being a key plot point of Crisis Core and its later effects on the Final Fantasy VII story. For all those of us that can't get our hands on this, we'll just have to settle for cuddling up with a regular, non-giant-sword-shaped pillow and dreaming of one.
