Publisher Square Enix Japan has launched a new survey to gain insights about the expectations and impressions of its fans. The online survey asks fans which games Team Asano should revisit with current game technologies, and what video game genre the developers should focus on in the future. The publisher also states that there will be rewards to a group of participants after the survey is finished.

The new survey is now available on the official website of the Japanese game giant, and it calls out to the fans to share their expectations from Team Asano's works. The description reads, "We are conducting a survey for [..] Asano Team. In the survey, we will ask a wide range of questions, such as the experiences and impressions (you have) of the titles created by the same team, such as Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler alongside future titles in the works."

Two of the notable questions in the survey ask fans what remakes and remasters the studio should focus on in the future. "What kind of games would you like to see remade or remastered in the future?" one question reads. Moreover, the publisher is not only interested in the fan feedback specific to its games. That's because the question comes with the following note, saying that the answer could be any game and should not be limited to Square Enix titles. The other question asks which video game genre the fans would like Team Asano to focus on in its future titles.

While the complete version of the questionnaire has not surfaced yet, this is not the first time the game company called out for fan feedback. In October, Team Asano turned to fans to ask about their opinions on a possible third installment for the Bravely Default series. Currently, the team is hard at work on Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, which is one of the most anticipated JRPGs coming from Square Enix. Team Asano is also known for another anticipated title, Octopath Traveler II. The long-awaited HD-2D title will land on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on February 24.

Those who would like to participate in the survey to share their opinions with the studio need to do it by February 8. That being said, it is worth noting that only those with a Square Enix Member account can take the survey.
