From August 31st to September 2nd, Square Enix will be hosting a Final Fantasy 25th anniversary event in Shibuya. Square Enix has plans to show off demos and have some new announcements planned.

A event called Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Saga: New Developments Presentation will occur on September 1st. Chances are this may have something to do with a third entry in the Final Fantasy XIII storyline or maybe an announcement of some kind involving Final Fantasy XIII.

That same day will be Final Fantasy XIV Special Talk Show that will cover the latest details regarding the upcoming 2.0 update for the game and possible information on the PlayStation 3 version.

Nobuo Uematsu, composer of most Final Fantasy games, will also have a chance to talk about the musical history of the franchise from its beginning to now. There will also be a Final Fantasy VII 15th Anniversary Stage that takes a look back at the game from the perspective of many involved with the Final Fantasy VII Compilation.

Fans of Final Fantasy should keep an eye out for this event for any possible new announcements and some interesting look backs on the history of Final Fantasy, providing someone will be kind enough to share and translate these look backs.
