Square Enix and Marvel Announce Multi-Game Partnership Starting with The Avengers

Surprise, surprise, Square Enix' Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montréal studios are joining forces with Marvel to bring us a new The Avengers game.

Today Square Enix and Marvel teased the first game of a multi-title partnership between the two publishers.

The first title fruit of the house of Final Fantasy and that of X-Men joining forces will be dedicated to The Avengers franchise.

No specific details were provided for the moment, besides the fact that both Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics and Deus Ex developer Eidos Montréal appear to be involved.

The keyword “Reassemble” also has been mentioned, with the teaser trailer, that you can see above, seemingly depicting a situation in which the Avengers have been defeated or dismantled, and need to come back together,

That said, at the moment we can do little more than speculate, and wait for further information. In tghe meanwhile, check out the trailer below.
