PAX West is almost here and Square Enix has finalized it’s lineup for the event which includes quite a number of RPG titles.
Dragon Quest leads the charge with the series eleventh major entry. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a standalone adventure featuring a new cast of characters, so even though it’s part of longrunning franchise new-comers can indulge without needing to have prior knowledge of its history. Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition joins the lineup taking all the previously released content for the game and displaying them in beautiful 4K. The long-awaited return of Disney’s captivating crossover will also be on display in the form of Kingdom Hearts III.
Along with these console and PC based RPG titles, there are also a number of mobile-based experiences on offer too including Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia, Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, Mobius Final Fantasy, and Star Ocean: Anamnesis.
There are also a handful of non-RPG titles in the mix for Square Enix’s PAX West showcase this year including the return of the iconic Lara Croft in the gritty Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the cinematic action-adventure The Quiet Man, and the sequel to the award-winning Life is Strange series Life is Strange 2.
PAX West will be kicking off next weekend and running from August 31-September 3 in Seattle, Washington.
