Square Enix Releasing 10,000 Additional Units of Final Fantasy XV’s Ultimate Collector’s Edition

on April 21, 2016 1:53 PM

During the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event Square Enix announced the release of the game’s Ultimate Collector’s Edition in a limited run of 30,000 copies worldwide.

Not surprisingly, pre-orders almost literally evaporated, leaving fans wanting for more, and more will come.

During today’s Active Time Report broadcast the Takai-san from the Square Enix marketing department announced that the company release another 10,000 copies of the big box.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond Square Enix’s control, those copies might not be ready in time for the game’s release on September 30th, but the publisher is doing everything in its power to avoid that issue, even if no promises were made.

Pre-order availability and details for this further batch will be announced at a later date.
