Square Enix Sets Price for Final Fantasy Dimensions

Square Enix has announced pricing for the upcoming episodic game, Final Fantasy Dimensions.

The first episode will retail for $2.99, which is a fair price by most mobile title standards. The following three episodes will retail for $6.99 each, which is quite hefty for mobile title standards.

The complete game can be purchased at $28.99. Yup for the same price as a 3DS game or PSP title you can get a game that heavily reuses assets from Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection.

Square does have a tendency to over price on their mobile offerings, but is the game really worth it? No one can tell until the game is released on Android and iOS device,s but that sure is expensive for a title like this on the mobile landscape where most games fall close to a dollar.
