October 28, 2016

Square Enix opened today a new teaser website for what appears to be a new Final Fantasy game for iOS and Android.

The site’s tag include “Final Fantasy” and the acronym “FFLTS,” while art by Yoshitaka Amano is displayed and unmistakable music from the series plays on the background.

A further hint could be a message by Takashi Tokita that says:

“Final Fantasy is about characters with anger and sadness and dramatic battles full of humanity. And more than anything else, we should not forget the fantasy.”

Takashi Tokita was the Director of Chrono Trigger and Parasite Eve,  Lead Game Designer on Final Fantasy IV, and covered several roles including Producer on a lot of Square Enix titles.

The website comes with a count-down, that will expire in five days.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
