While Star Ocean: Anamnesis, a gacha mobile game from the long-running RPG series, has been available in Japan for some time, it finally came west in July. Like most mobile games, it is consistently supported with weekly and monthly events where players can net exclusive rewards, and like Square Enix's Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, some of these events cross over with other games. Today, Star Ocean: Anamnesis' latest event began, and it crosses over with last year's Nier: Automata.

This collaboration runs from today until November 27, and will let players add 2B, 9S, and A2 to their roster. 2B is a 5-star Ace Attacker, 9S is a 5-star Ace Sharpshooter, and A2 is a 5-Star Ace defender. When it comes to new weapon's 9S' one-handed Type-3 sword and A2's Great Swords have been implemented in Star Ocean: Ananesis.

If players decide to tackle the Tomb of Remembrance during this event, they can also net themselves a Virtuous Contract one-handed sword and Emil Mask accessory. Daily rewards and character enhancement success rates are also being increased during this event. Square Enix is also promoting this collaboration through a stream on Twitch tomorrow that will feature 2B's voice actress Kira Buckland, 9S' voice actor Kyle McCarley, and Global Producer Takaaki Kai.

You can check out the trailer that highlights this collaboration below. Star Ocean: Anamnesis is currently available for free on iOS and Android, while Nier: Automata is currently available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
