Today Square Enix announced that its mobile JRPG Star Ocean: Anamnesis is getting a summer event.

First of all, four special bikini characters will be added to the game. Those are Sophia Esteed from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Reimi Saionji and Myuria Tionysus from Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and everyone's favorite weirdoface Miki Sauvester from Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness.

The new characters were introduced with a new TV commercial, and the official Twitter account of the game also posted additional videos of Reimi and Sophia. Despite the distinct and almost criminal lack of Fiore Brunelli, they certainly look rather cute.

For the occasion, we also get a lovely illustration by Akira "Akiman" Yasuda, that you can see at the top of the post. Square Enix is also hosting a welcome back campaign, offering additional goodies for returners.

Star Ocean: Anamnesis is currently available for iOS and Andoid in Japan, with no western localization announced for the moment. If you want to see more about the game, you can check out a gameplay trailer, and the anime intro.
