That's right, another JRPG showed off its box art recently.  This one happens to be the re-release of Star Ocean: The Last Hope, dubbed the "International" edition.  PlayStation 3 gamers will be able to enjoy the formerly Xbox 360 exclusive title in short order - February 9, 2010.  Along with the PS3 version comes a drastic change in box art.  To appeal to the Xbox kiddies, Square-Enix decided to forgo the use of anime-style box art and, as fate will have it, the anime-style character portraits in-game, for that version earlier this year.

It turns out, for the PS3 release, both those features - yes, they are features because they are awesome - return.  The newly revealed box art shows the two main characters - Edge and Reimi - in all their stylized glory.  As an added bonus, the anime portraits are back in the International version, as well as the Japanese language track with English sub-titles.  Score one for the otakus, right?
