The third expansion pack for Cryptic Studio's MMORPG Star Trek Online, known as Agent of Tomorrow, has celebrated its launch on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One with a new trailer.

The trailer sees the player’s ship being ravaged by enemies as the federation withdraws from a rather one-sided engagement. After being ripped out of the attack by appears to be a crack in time, the player is recruited as a Temporal Agent tasked with defending the universes timeline against any and all incursions.

Agents of Tomorrow will bring console players new features to the game including new sub-factions, missions, starships, specialization trees, cast, weapons, and a new universe to explore. The release also comes with a seven year anniversary celebration for the game that will allow players to obtain daily rewards up to the 20^th of February.

Star Trek Online: Agents of Tomorrow is free-to-play and is available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
