Even though Battlefield 5 might be the studio's most recent release, DICE is still hard at work adding new content to the 2017 iteration of Star Wars Battlefront II. Starting next week, the multiplayer title will also see the addition of a new hero character in Anakin Skywalker, which DICE has finally now shown off to fans.In a recent video released on Twitter, DICE teased the first in-game look at Anakin. We only briefly see the young Skywalker in a showdown against Count Dooku, who just came to Star Wars Battlefront II himself last month. The two seem to be squaring off on Geonosis, which is also one of the latest maps that have also been added to the game. Anakin's character model also reflects his design seen in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.Anakin has been one of the most requested characters to be added to Star Wars Battlefront II for quite some time now. While we've known that he has been in the pipeline for quite some time, his arrival in-game will finally transpire next week on February 27 in Battlefront II's new "The Chosen One" update. Anakin will be purchasable in the game for 35,000 credits.Below you can check out the brief teaser video in question for Anakin's arrival to Star Wars Battlefront II. I've been meaning to revisit this game for quite some time now myself and maybe I'll finally get around to doing so next week alongside this new update.Star Wars Battlefront II is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
