Earlier today during its press conference, EA gave an extensive look at the multiplayer component of Star Wars: Battlefront II . This was done through showcasing the "Assault on Theed" mode, which is set on Naboo.

This mode pits clone troopers and battle droids against each other. The droid team's goal is to escort their carrier across the game's map while the opposing clone troopers must attempt to destroy it in order to defend the palace on Naboo. If the clone troopers fail their initial mission, their next goal is to whittle down their droids numbers as they defend the Palace's throne room.

DualShockers got the chance to go hands on with Star Wars: Battlefront II today and partake in the "Assault on Theed" mode. In video below, you can see us playing during the second phase of the multiplayer match as we attempt to defend the throne room. During this time, we take control of the Heavy and Officer classes, the special Jumptrooper class, and even the hero Rey in both third and first person mode. We also gave our impressions of EA's Press Conference.

You can check out our seven minutes of gameplay below. Star Wars Battlefront II is set to release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One November 17.
