Star Wars: Battlefront for Xbox One Ranks 35th in Japan, Finally Pushes Xbox One Past 60,000 Units Sold

Star Wars: Battlefront for PS4 dominated the Japanese media create top 20 chart this week, but the Xbox One version did not make the ranking. As every Friday, the data-crunching firm just released its top 50, and we can finally assess how the game fared on Microsoft consoles.

The Xbox One version of the game is indeed among the relatively few games on Microsoft’s console to make the top 50, ranking 35th.

But there’s more this week about the Xbox One: Battlefront managed to push sales of the console a bit higher than usual, and this week’s 889 units moved added to our Media Create historical data reveals that the console has finally broken the 60,000 sell-through wall in the archipelago of the rising sun.

To be more precise, 60,635 Xbox One consoles have been sold to Japanese customers in the 14 and months since its launch in September 4th, 2014.
