If you've been anxious to see more from Star Wars Battlefront II's single player campaign like I have, then your wait is over. Today developer EA DICE released a full cutscene from the upcoming shooter.

Clocking in at two and a half minutes long, the scene seems to be from the beginning of the game, as it shows our protagonist, Iden Versio, learning the news of the Emperor's death right after Return of the Jedi, and subsequently receiving her first assignment.

In other Star Wars Battlefront II news, earlier this week we got our first look at Arcade Mode, which allow you and one other player to practice against enemy bots before stepping into a match, as well as a rundown of all the content that is set to be included with the game when it launches.

Star Wars Battlefront II is set to hit store shelves on November 17, 2017, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Players who choose to pre-order the game will receive access to The Last Jedi-themed outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey, extra modifiers for select guns and ships, and early access to the game's beta.

You can check out the aforementioned cutscene below.
