Today developer EA DICE revealed a few new details about its upcoming game Star Wars Battlefront II ahead of tomorrow's EA Play event.

First off, the developer announced that a beta is coming for the title. No specific information about the test was given besides the fact that it will be available sometime this fall. In addition, pre-ordering the title will grant you early access to the beta. As of the time of this writing, it is unknown how many extra days this early access will grant you.

In addition to the announcement of the beta, the developer also revealed that reserving a copy of the game will grant you access to an upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda. What exactly this Star Card does remains to be seen.

EA DICE confirmed that both existing and new pre-orders will be eligible for both of these bonuses.

Players will, of course, receive the three previously announced bonuses as well, which include Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey, six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards, and instant access to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon.

Finally, the developer released a very short teaser for its full trailer that will be premiering tomorrow at the EA Play event in California. The seven second teaser only contains two shots, both of which feature our first look at battle sroids, most likely from the Theed map that will be shown off tomorrow. You can check out the teaser at the end of the article.

Star Wars Battlefront II is scheduled to be released on November 17th, 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
