Peter Mayhew, the man who played the role as one of the most recognizable characters in all of entertainment in Chewbacca, sadly passed away on April 30, 2019. After the news broke, many of his friends and fans showed their admiration for him online with countless amounts of stories and support. Many players began to use the Chewbacca skin in Battlefront II to honor the actor while others asked the developers behind the game to create an event or another activity to honey Peter Mayhew. There still has not been an event added or announced, however, the developers have added a small tribute into the game. I love everything about this. As a Star Wars fan since basically birth, the passing of Carrie Fisher and Peter Mayhew have hit me harder than expected. It is great to hear there are other fans out there who have the same love and admiration for these characters and actors.
