EA and DICE have announced that the final DLC pack for Star Wars Battlefront -- titled Rogue One: Scarif -- arrives for season pass holders on December 6th alongside the Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission DLC for PS4.

Rogue One: Scarif adds four new maps, including Scarif, the tropical planet seen in the new trailers for Rogue One.  It also adds two new Hero characters -- who also feature in the upcoming movie -- Jyn Esro and Orson Krennic.

With Rogue One arriving in theaters on December 16th, it makes sense EA wanted to get the new Battlefront DLC out before then.

In case you missed it, yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Battlefront's release, and to celebrate EA kicked off the previously announced anniversary event (which was originally scheduled for November 28th) a bit early. Starting yesterday, and running until November 20th, Battlefront owners can play the first three DLC packs for free.
