While Star Wars games have had a bit patch over the past couple years, the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is promising to deliver a unique new story set in the world of Star Wars, with the first official demo for the game, with 15 minutes of gameplay having been showcased at EA Play 2019.

During EA Play 2019 at E3, developer Respawn Entertainment shared a new gameplay video in the midst of its livestream devoted to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, its upcoming third-person action-adventure game set within the Star Wars universe.

The demo itself gives us not only a good indication of what to expect from the game's story, but delves deeper into the actual mechanics and gameplay of Fallen Order, which takes things into a more action-adventure-driven direction, complete with lightsaber combat.

According to game director Stig Asmussen, the gameplay takes place on the Wookie planet of Kashyyyk and is set about three hours into the game, as Cal comes to hone his powers as a Jedi in training and try to assist the enslaved Wookie population. In the beginning of the gameplay segment, we also get to see some familiar Star Wars faces, such as Saw Gerrera from Rogue One.

As we've previously known for some time, Fallen Order will be set after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and follows the story of a padawan named Cal Kestis, who is among the remaining survivors of Order 66 and trying to outrun the Empire as they eliminate the Jedi Order.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15, 2019. For a closer look at the game, you can check out the newly-released gameplay trailer from E3 2019 below, and you can pre-order the game on Amazon now:
