Quite recently, we got some more information about the sequel. Reported Jeff Grubb had stated that fans can "Expect to hear about the game in a significant way before E3." According to prominent industry leaker Tom Henderson, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel announcement could be coming very soon. He even gives a date for the announcement, which could be May 4th if his report turns out to be accurate. Lastly, it is also stated that the release will likely be taking place in the fourth quarter of 2022.

It will be interesting to see how EA takes the game forward, and whether it is able to replicate the success of its predecessor. The previous game managed to deliver on all fronts, be it gameplay, narrative, or other stuff. With a 2022 release on the cards, we should be hearing more pretty soon.
