Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Teaser Image Unveiled Ahead of this Weekend’s Official Reveal
EA and Respawn are finally ready to start talking (and showing) more of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
It’s going to be a pretty big week for Star Wars fans in Chicago attending Star Wars Celebration. Not only will we likely be getting the first info and footage from this year’s upcoming film Star Wars: Episode IX but we’re also slated to see the first formal reveal of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the upcoming video game from EA and Respawn Entertainment.
Ahead of Saturday’s official unveiling of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order though, today, EA has released the first teaser image for the game that we have seen since its announcement last year. The image in question seems to feature the broken hilt of a lightsaber which is sitting against a glowing slab. We can also see the official logo for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order overlayed on top of the lightsaber as well. The caption for the picture as shared by EA also states, “Don’t stand out.”
This picture is a nice tone-setter for what seems to be a very dark game. If you’re not aware, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will take place in between Episodes III and IV of the Star Wars saga where the Empire is trying to eradicate all remaining Jedi in the galaxy. You will play as one of these remaining Jedi, but what your goal will be in the game’s narrative has not been made clear yet. Judging by the “Don’t stand out,” quote attached to this image, it seems like you might be trying to keep a very low profile throughout the game. Maybe there are some stealth mechanics? We’ll surely find out soon enough.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s reveal is set to take place this Saturday, April 13, at 2:30pm EST/11:30am PST. The reveal will be live streamed over on the official EA Star Wars Twitch channel if you’d like to watch it for yourself. And if you can’t tune in, we’ll have all the latest news about the game for you here on DualShockers as it transpires.
