Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm have teamed up once again with GOG.com to bring classic LucasArts games to the digital distribution platform. This week, GOG.com has added several classic Star Wars games, making the digital download debut for titles such as Star Wars: Rebellion and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D.

On Monday, six games released on the GOG.com including Star Wars: Battlefront II, Star Wars: Dark Forces and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, with the digital download debuts of Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. Today three more games were released in Star Wars: Rebellion, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D and Star Wars: Empire at War. Three more games are slated to released next week on January 27th in Star Wars: Republic Commando, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Star Wars: Starfighter.

Considering myself a huge Star Wars fan, I'm quite excited to see some of my favorite titles preserved through release on GOG.com. In particular, I honestly didn't even know that Rogue Squadron received a PC release, as the game launched on the N64 just days before I turned eight years old. I consider it one of my all-time favorites and it's pretty awesome that I can now recover that small piece of my childhood on my PC. Now if I can only get a release of Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, I'd be set for quite some time.

To check out all of these classic Star Wars games, head over to GOG.com to pick up your favorite titles in the name of nostalgia.
