While StarCraft II has long been in the competitive circuit for years since it released back in 2010, those that have yet to dive in to the acclaimed strategy title will now have the best chance ever thanks to the game's recent transition to a free-to-play structure, with Blizzard releasing several new spots to celebrate the transition.

Blizzard has unveiled a series of new commercials to coincide with StarCraft II now being available in a free-to-play structure, with the commercial taking a cheeky approach as a father and son discuss establishing a "legacy" in the best way possible - through playing StarCraft.

StarCraft II is available now on PC and Mac, and has moved to a free-to-play structure that allows players to experience the "Wings of Liberty" single-player campaign, play co-op missions with friends, and more, while having the option to purchase the game's expansions and other add-on content. For a closer look, you can check out the trailers below:

For a limited time, those that had previously purchased "Wings of Liberty" are eligible to get a free copy of the game's second expansion, "Heart of the Swarm," which will appear in players' Battle.net client as a gift that they then can redeem for the full expansion through Blizzard's online store.
