Last month, developer Eric Barone announced that critically acclaimed farming simulator RPG Stardew Valley was set to finally arrive on PS4 and Xbox One on December 14th.

As you may know, the critical-darling released onto PC earlier this year on February 26th, and was awarded Breakthrough Award at the Golden Joystick Awards 2016, and nominated for Best Independent Game for The Game Awards 2016. Just on PC alone, the game sold one million copies within two months of launch. Alas, it's safe to say there's a lot of excitement behind this game. And today that excitement builds.

A new trailer for the game has been released, and while it looks similar to previous trailers, it is indeed new.

Stardew Valley is available on PC, Mac and Linux, and soon to be PS4 and Xbox One. In other news, Barone also announced at the same time of the PS4 and Xbox One announcement that the game had been cancelled on Wii U, and was instead aiming to release on the upcoming Switch.
