We first heard about a possible PS Vita version of Stardew Valley early last year, and it was later confirmed last December. Today, developer ConcernedApe and publisher Chucklefish took to the official Stardew Valley developer blog to announced that the game would finally be releasing on PS Vita on May 22.

According to the developers, Stardew Valley also supports cross-buy, so players who pick up the game on PS Vita will also receive the PS4, and vice versa. Stardew Valley is very addictive on Nintendo Switch, so I'm sure PlayStation users will have just as much fun playing the game on Sony's handheld.

For those of you who aren't aware, Stardew Valley is farming-based RPG reminiscent of early Harvest Moon titles In the game, players can build up their initially small farm, get married, and even explore dungeons on the side. The game initially released on PC in early 2016, and has since made its way to PS4, Xbox One, and most recently, Nintendo Switch.

Stardew Valley is currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and will come to PS Vita on May 22.
