Recently, two early screenshots of a space-game appeared on internet and were claimed to be related to Bethesda's Starfield. Yesterday, another screenshot of the same game went viral, providing a better view at the playable character, and a spaceship-like structure in a foreign planet.

It's now going to be over two years since Bethesda has announced to be working on Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, but no specific details have been revealed about both games so far. That being said, after Microsoft announced that they have acquired all ZeniMax and Bethesda studios earlier this month, they had a special focus on Starfield as Bethesda's upcoming sci-fi RPG, making its way to Xbox Game Pass at launch for Xbox platforms and PC.

The new screenshot shows off the same character and UI that we already seen in the two recent shots of the game. However, it's obvious that the screenshot has been taken from an early build of the game. Seeing the quality of ground textures and the black screen behind the space structure that doesn't look good enough.

All we can say at this point is to take the unofficial news with a grain of salt. There's currently no convincing proof to tell us that the screenshots are related to Starfield, though some players have found a badge on the shoulder of the character that looks similar to the brief scene we saw during Starfield's reveal teaser.

Recently, during a video meeting with Phil Spencer, Lary Hryb, and Pete Hines, Todd Howard said that he would wait as long as possible for showcasing games, including Starfield. But it's possible we are not far away from a new trailer now.

Later this year, we might receive some new information about Xbox's upcoming games at The Game Awards 2020, on December 10. Last year, Phil Spencer revealed Xbox Series X and Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga at The Game Awards showcase.
