The official support page for Starfield states that the title is set to arrive in the first half of 2023. The support page for Bethesda Softworks' highly-anticipated space RPG is now live on the developer's website, and it reaffirms the developer's plans to launch the game before the summer.

Starfield's official help page on Bethesda's website offers a wide array of questions and answers in its FAQ section, which also includes the vague release window of the anticipated title. "Starfield arrives exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC in the first half of 2023," reads the answer to the question regarding the launch date. While we know that Bethesda delayed its long-awaited space RPG back in October, the FAQ section does not indicate any delays in the future and serves as a confirmation for the 2023 release.

While the fact that the support page went live today spells good things Starfield, Bethesda still has not revealed the definitive release date of its brand-new IP. And the first half of 2023 means that we can expect the game to land on Xbox Game Pass sometime within the next six months. It is worth noting that the game will only be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Xbox Game Pass on day one, meaning that anyone with a subscription can dive into the world of Starfield and discover the wonders of Constellation on the release day.

And those who are curious will find some of their questions answered in a recent interview, featuring Starfield's Quest Designer Will Shen and Bethesda's Community Director Jess Finster as they talk about the quests, companions, and random encounters in Starfield's expansive universe. Alongside the interview, the title's director and Bethesda veteran Todd Howard shared his insights on the game's development and stated that the game's Xbox exclusivity has had a positive impact on the process.

According to Howard, focusing on a single platform granted Bethesda a certain flexibility for managing its time and resources. While the exclusivity offered many advantages, it seems like it could not allow the developer to release the game on its targeted release date, which was initially November 11, 2022. In Lex Friedman's podcast, Howard explained the reason behind the delay and said that "there are a lot of things that go into a release date like marketing and publishing, and we've reached a point where on Starfield, it's pretty clear to us...we should really move it and give it the time it needs."

Following the opening of the official support page, Bethesda should hopefully share new details and show new content from its enigmatic space RPG, finally revealing the definitive release date.
