State of Decay 2 Passes 2 Million Players in Less than Two Weeks
Undead Labs' State of Decay 2 has brought over two million zombie apocalypse survivors into the fold, while almost two billion zombies have been killed.
On May 22nd, Undead Labs’ latest work State of Decay 2 was launched on Xbox One and Windows 10, and today Microsoft announced that the game passed two million players in less than two weeks since its release.
We also get the traditional miscellaneous stats with almost two billion zombies killed (for good), with an average survival time for players of three days.
Players have also completed over 121,000 community stories, while the development team has worked hard to bring a large update to the game last week.
While the player count has certainly been helped by the inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass service, this is doubtlessly a quite nice milestone for Undead Labs and Microsoft. If you want to know what we thought about the game, you can check out our own review.
State of Decay 2 is currently available for both PC and Xbox One, and you can currently grab a copy of the game on Amazon.
