State of Decay 2 Gets a New Gameplay Trailer Showing Fighting, Driving, Homestead, and More

Undead Labs shows the most relevant aspects of State of Decay 2's gameplay in a brand new trailer running at its PAX East Booth.

April 5, 2018

Today Undead Labs released a brand new trailer of State of Decay 2 to celebrate PAX East.

The trailer is a rather simple look at many aspects of the game, including driving (and of course cars can be weaponized), fighting against the undead hordes, and exploration.

We also get a quick look at the management of the homestead, that will serve as a rather shaky refuge against your enemies.

Fighting seems to be rather varied and interesting, including stealth elements and takedowns. Having seen it at Gamescom last year, a lot of  work seems to have gone into improving several aspects of the gameplay.

You can check it out below. If you want to hear more, You can check out some information on the enhancements done for Xbox One X, and on the lack of microtransactions.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
