The calendar has now officially turned over to May, which means that Undead Labs' zombie-killing sequel State of Decay 2 will have released by month's end.

To begin building up to the game's launch, Undead Labs and Microsoft today released a new trailer for State of Decay 2 which highlights gameplay. The video shows off many of the unique aspects that this apocalyptic open world game boasts such as fort building, combat, and co-op.

Of course, being a game set in the zombie apocalypse, you're going to need plenty of awesome weapons to defend yourself and this trailer highlights these in droves. From your basic weapons like shotguns and assault rifles to the more bombastic weapons like the grenade launcher and sniper rifle, this trailer for State of Decay 2 shows off the damage that these arms can deal out.
