Last week, State of Decay 2 finally got an official release date. With the game's launch date finally set, today, the game's publisher Microsoft has announced the game's Collector's Edition, which is ghoulishly impressive.

According to Microsoft, this version of State of Decay 2 is considered the definitive "starter kit." In addition to receiving the base game, the package also includes an exclusive SteelBook case, a latex zombie mask, and flash drive shaped like a thumb. Additionally, the Collector's Edition also features a State of Decay 2 patch as well as a human brain SteelBook stand.

Those interested in purchasing the Collector's Edition can pre-order it now at their favorite retail store for $69.99. Additionally, you can purchase the Standard Edition for $29.99, the Ultimate Edition for $49.99 (which will also include early access to the game), or play the game via Xbox Game Pass.

You can check out a photo of the Collector's Edition below. For more information on State of Decay 2, check out 25 minutes worth of gameplay footage flaunting the game's co-op mode, it was also revealed that the upcoming zombie title would feature cross-platform play and no microtransactions.

State of Decay 2 is set to be released on May 22 for PC and Xbox One.
