Just 24 days ago, we learned that Undead Labs' State of Decay 2 had over 2 million players. Today, we learned that the player count has now skyrocketed passed 3 million players. To celebrate, Microsoft has released a brand new 4th of July themed DLC pack, aptly titled the Independence Pack.

This DLC adds three vehicles, the Pyrohawk, Burninator and Meatwagon. When it comes to new weapons, the Freedom Ringer, Grillmeister and BBQ Fork have been added as standard weapons, and the Pyro Launcher and Starshank Launcher pack an explosive punch.

Players can also now craft and use fireworks, with the Block Rocker, Reign o’ Fire, Bouncing Boris and XL Firework Shell being available via the Independence Pack. This DLC only costs $4.99, but Ultimate Edition owners get it for "free" and Xbox Game Pass owners get a 10% discount.
