State of Decay 2 fans were greeted with an all-new update named Hotfix 29.2 which makes a number of changes to the game

This is not quite a significant update and just a small hotfix that aims to fix some of the issues that have been lingering in the game. Firstly, the Feral Mission is now unlocked. If you have played the game lately, you must have noticed that in the Freak in the House mission, which also happens to involve the Feral, there are a number of bugs. In fact, the mission doesn't even load properly. Moreover, when players head on to the Enclave's base, the mission automatically ends which prevents players from doing it altogether.

Moreover, Geoff Tuffli has been added to the credits, and the name on Lundegaard Lumber Mill has been fixed. Lastly, the missing VO in Trumbull has been fixed. This is most likely the radio bug that has prevented users from listening to radio calls that are not a part of the regular missions.

Here are the complete patch notes of the update.

As it can be seen from the above patch notes, this update wasn't that big. However, what's interesting to note is that this is not the only update players have in store. The game is gearing up for a pretty big update in the coming days, with the launch of the Update 30. The developers have announced a release window of July for the update, but an exact release date is yet to be mentioned.
