With the COVID-19 pandemic having upended the traditional conventions and events that we'd be seeing throughout the year, several events like the Summer Game Fest have emerged to bring the games industry's community events to viewers at home. Among them has been the Steam Game Festival, and following its summer showcase the online game demo fest will come back this fall.Geoff Keighley revealed on Twitter that the Steam Game Festival will be returning in the fall with an "Autumn Edition." Like the Summer Edition that took place in June, the Steam Game Festival will give PC players the chance to try out a number of demos and free trials for upcoming games, ranging from indie games to other games on the horizon.

The Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition hosted a number of game demos for upcoming titles, and our own staff writer Kris Cornelisse shared his impressions on over two dozens of the game demos that were available. You can take a look at the demos that left the biggest impression on him from the Summer Edition, along with a "Lightning Round" of other smaller demos that were (or weren't) worth checking out.

The Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition will be running from October 7 - 13, 2020. Stay tuned for additional details from Valve as the event draws closer.
