Steam Link Trailer Shows How You Can Stream Games from Your PC to Any TV at 1080p, 60 FPS

Today Valve released a new trailer of the upcoming Steam Link, that acts as a bridge between your PC and any TV, and that will be released this November.

The link allows you to play any Steam game on whatever TV within your home network, promising 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.

Of course your rig needs to be supporting that kind of frame rate and resolution to begin with, but that’s the nature of the beast.

The Steam Link can be pre-ordered here, and as a very relevant note, the pre-order page “strongly” recommends a wired network.

Giuseppe Nelva

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
