It's that time of the year again - PC gamers everywhere cry tears of joy (and pain) as they grab their wallets and pick up dozens of new games, all thanks to the annual Steam Summer Sale that has officially kicked off today.

The Steam Summer Sale has returned once more with thousands of discounts available across the entire store, with the sale officially running today through July 5th, 2017. While there should be a ton available for everyone, highlighted discounts on the homepage (so far) include discounts on the Final Fantasy series, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, SUPERHOT, and plenty of recent and returning favorites for Steam users.

The Steam Summer Sale traditionally runs around this time for about two weeks and is a staple for PC gamers looking to fill up their backlogs with tons of great games. Following the format of the past few years, the Summer Sale is year is not featuring any Flash Sales or limited time offers, but does feature a fun metagame where Steam users can collect Stickers with game purchases and try to fill up their Sticker Book.

The Steam Summer Sale is available now through July 5th, 2017 - you can expect the site to have some hiccups at the moment with the flood of users trying to grab games, but check back for more deals throughout the run of the sale.
