Valve’s digital delivery service just started its much awaited Winter Sale, that as usual will carry us across the Holidays, This year’s event will last for six days until January the 3nd.

The sweet deals, that as usual include a lot of daily sales  and 8-hour long flash sales with discounts up to 75%, are available here. Today’s Highlights are Dishonored and BioShock Infinite discounted by 75%, Batman: Arkham Origins already down 50%, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance basically debuting 33% off.

This year special “Snow Globe” trading cards are also available, coming with quite a lot of in-game items for free to play titles like War Thunder, DOTA 2 and Team Fortress 2.

It’s the time of the year in which you get to hug your wallet, as it’s going to suffer quite a bit over the next two weeks. You may want to actually wait a few minutes, because for the first half a hour the Steam portal tends to be hit by heavy traffic, pretty much like a Walmart on Black Friday.
