Steam’s Family Sharing Comes out of Beta

on March 1, 2014 3:09 PM

Great news for a household full of gamers. Steam users can now share their library with your family starting now.

As of now the beta for Family Sharing has come to an end. You can now share your account with other people without having to saves or achievements messed around with.

You may authorize Family Library Sharing on up to 10 devices at a given time, and for up to 5 accounts that may then use your game library on any of your authorized computers.

There is a catch though, a shared library can only be access by one person at a time. If the main user logs in while an authorize user is on the other person gets a prompt stating that they have a few minutes to purchase the game or will to wait until the main user user logs back out. Check out the FAQ to know more info about Family Sharing.
